I am a computational designer, software developer, materials engineer, roboticist, and artist.
My work is to explore design through the lens of fabrication, creating new materials, new tools, and new methods for linking physical matter to applications of the current and future world. Often, I write code to define and manipulate geometry. Usually I program robots to make things. Frequently I have to make the robots first.
My favorite projects are end to end multidisciplinary, where I can take on everything from material testing and mechanical engineering to computational design and media production all as part of my holistic perspective on designing products, architecture, sculpture, and the technologies that enable them.
